Jen & Wendy
Jen & Wendy are both Wilson certified and credentialed Dyslexia Practitioners. They promote Structured Literacy as they are advocates of the Science of Reading.
They have a combined teaching experience of over 40 years, spanning grades K-6. They now work as Reading Specialists. The students with whom they work represent a diverse population, including, regular and special education students, and English language learners.
In their heart of hearts, they are teachers. They respect teachers and recognize the numerous responsibilities for which they are held accountable.
In addition to the students, this core understanding is what inspired then to co-found Informed Literacy. Jen & Wendy create content and resources to guide our audience in their Science of Reading journeys. Their mission is to support teachers and parents because every child deserves reading success.
